Happy New Year! I cannot believe that we are in 2020. If you are like me, you’re trying to get yourself organized going into the new year. Setting your goals, and really trying to figure out what you can do to accomplish them. Right now is the perfect time for you, if you haven’t already, plan to launch your fashion line. 2020 is your YEAR!

A Frustrated Consumer

I know from personal experience, that most people who create do so because they saw a problem and knew they could make the solution. Have you ever walked into a store, and been like “Man, this would be so much better if…” Or, “I wish they had done this?” 

For me, that was 100% why I decided to create a swimwear line. I was tired of shopping for bikinis and it pinching at my sides because I was always between sizes. I wanted to make sure that my styles were a little bit more generous so that women could be comfortable. 

There is nothing better than watching your products fly off the shelves because yes, this was the solution. And no, I wasn’t the only one that thought this was a problem. 

Are You Ready to Launch a Clothing Line? 

So, this will be different for everyone. But, no, you will never be 100% ready to launch. And, that is simply because we are perfectionists. We always want to do a tweak here, fix this product description. Should I add more? Does this make sense? What if people don’t like it?  

And then, of course, there is Google -- our best friend, and our worst enemy. It shows some of what you need to do, but can also overwhelm you and talk you out of launching your fashion line before you’ve even got passed the “I think I could do this.” 

I’m here to tell you to give yourself permission to take a chance on an idea. I went to a master class last year, and they said that we’ve all had million-dollar ideas. The difference between making it a reality and letting it pass you by is the action, drive, and passion you have to overcome your doubts, push past the naysayers, and fight for your dreams. 

5 Questions to Ask Before You Begin Your Fashion Journey
